Working Student - Social Media & Content

As our Working Student in Social Media & Content, you help shape how Maple Aviation shows up to the world. We are building autonomous aircraft for time-critical medical logistics and there are plenty of stories worth telling along the way. From flight tests and engineering milestones to product demonstrations, partnerships and everyday life inside a growing aerospace startup. You will help turn these moments into content that people want to stop, watch and engage with.

Tasks

• Create content for our social media channels, from ideas and copy to photography, short-form video and simple graphics.
• Help plan and manage our social media calendar and publish content across relevant platforms.
• Capture what is happening at Maple including flight tests, product developments, events, team moments and behind-the-scenes stories.
• Turn technical topics into clear, engaging stories that people outside the engineering world can understand.
• Support photo and video productions, including shooting, editing and preparing content for different formats.
• Monitor channel performance and use insights to understand what works and what we should do differently.
• Keep our communication visually and verbally consistent across social media.
• Stay close to new formats, platform trends and creative ideas and bring the good ones into Maple.

Requirements

• We care less about having the perfect CV than about your curiosity, creative instinct and ability to make things happen.
• You are currently studying Marketing, Communication, Media, Design, Languages or a related field.
• You have a strong interest in social media, content creation, storytelling and visual communication.
• You know how to recognize a good story and turn it into content people actually want to watch or read.
• You are comfortable taking photos and shooting video and have a good eye for composition, light and visual storytelling.
• You can write clearly and confidently in English. German or Italian is a plus.
• You are familiar with basic editing and content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, CapCut or similar.
• You are proactive and self-driven. You do not wait for someone to tell you every next step.
• You are curious about aviation, technology and innovation and willing to learn enough about what we build to communicate it well.
• Bonus: You already create content yourself, have managed a social media channel, or can show us photography, video or other creative work you are proud of.

Benefits

• Real ownership of content that will be seen by customers, partners, applicants and the wider aviation community.
• A front-row seat to building an autonomous aviation company from the inside.
• Direct exposure to engineers, product development, flight testing and real-world drone operations.
• The freedom to experiment with formats and bring your own ideas to the table.
• Flexible working hours around your studies.
• Wellpass: Fitness, Wellness & Sports.
• Team events.
• An international, hands-on team based in Ottobrunn, Munich.

If you like technology, visual storytelling and the idea of turning what happens behind the scenes of an aerospace startup into stories people care about, we would love to hear from you.

Please include examples of your work, portfolio or social media content with your application if available.
