Strategic Finance

Metaview is an AI company focused on recruiting. We build AI agents that help world-class companies hire with radically more speed and precision. We automate the toil, and augment the human for companies like Brex, Affirm, Deel, ElevenLabs, and Airtable.

Founded by Siadhal and Shahriar after their experiences scaling Uber and Palantir, we’ve raised $110m from top-tier investors including Google Ventures and Insight Partners.

It's still day 0: Now is the time to re-engineer how work gets done with AI at the core, and our toughest challenges still lie ahead. We're looking for people seeking the hardest, most fulfilling work of their lives.

How we work

Four principles guide us:

• Velocity. Optimize for rate of learning. Take action, get feedback, get better.

• Hospitality. Sweat the experience. Delight customers, candidates and colleagues, even when it’s inconvenient.

• Transparency. Public unless private. Share context openly within the company so people and agents can take initiative.

• End-to-end. Deliver outcomes, not tasks. Step beyond your job description and see the work through.

The role

We're building strategic finance from scratch, and you'd be our first hire in it. You'd be the finance partner to every function, Sales, Marketing, Engagement and Product, helping decide how we price, where we invest and how we scale. You'd also own the numbers the company runs on: the operating model, the plan, and board and investor reporting. This is a hands-on role reporting directly to the Head of Finance, with no team between you and the work, and no part of it you won't touch. And you'll work closely on fundraising and investor relations.

We're looking for someone a few years into banking, consulting, PE or strategic finance who wants to own outcomes instead of advising on them. You'd build your own models, dashboards and workflows with AI at the core, not bolted on. And we want someone who'd rather build the process than inherit one.

Key ownership areas

• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Engagement and Product on the decisions that drive growth: pricing and packaging, sales capacity and quota planning, unit economics and payback, and GTM efficiency.

• Own the operating model, annual plan and forecasts, and track how we perform against them.

• Own monthly board and investor reporting, from the numbers through to the narrative.

• Build the analytics and dashboards leadership uses to run the business.

• Support fundraising and investor relations: model, materials, data room and investor Q&A.

What you bring

• 2–4 years in investment banking, consulting, private equity or strategic finance.

• You can build an operating model from a blank sheet, not just update one.

• You turn messy data into a clear point of view, and can explain it plainly to a founder or a board member.

• You take a problem and own it. You'd rather deliver the answer than hand off the deck.

• You find building the playbook appealing.

• You're excited to use AI to do analysis faster and better, not just to use the tools you're handed.

• Bonus: SQL or data tooling (e.g. Hex), or exposure to B2B SaaS metrics.

What's in it for you

• An environment that fosters cohesion, collaboration, and performance with transparency at the heart of what we do and how we communicate.

• Supreme rate-of-learning as we re-orient how the world works with AI.

• High compensation, through cash and equity.

• Unlimited AI - Unlimited access to ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, and any other AI tools you need to move faster.

• Build your own toolkit - We'll provide the latest hardware, software, and equipment you need to do your best work.

• Ramp card for success - a company card to invest in the things that help you succeed:

  • Lunches and coffees with interesting people

  • Community memberships

  • Event attendance

  • Professional development

  • Home office upgrades

  • Books and learning resources
