Valiantys is looking for a Strategic Account Director to accelerate growth across our most important enterprise clients and prospects.

This role is a senior, services-led growth position for a commercially ambitious leader who can create opportunity at executive level, shape complex transformation agendas and convert them into significant consulting, professional services and long-term managed services relationships.

You will operate at the intersection of client strategy, technology transformation and commercial growth, building trusted relationships with senior executives, identifying where Valiantys can create meaningful business impact and mobilizing the right expertise from across our organization to make it happen.

Your mandate is clear: open doors, create demand, expand strategic relationships and build substantial, sustainable services revenue.

Your impact

Strategic Accounts

For senior sales professionals who are comfortable engaging C-level stakeholders, navigating complex organizations and expanding strategic customer relationships over time.

You will build trusted executive relationships, identify transformation priorities, create long-term account strategies and grow the value Valiantys delivers across a customer organization.

What you will do

Strategic account leadership

• You will think like the CEO of your accounts.

That means understanding each client’s strategy, organization, technology landscape, investment priorities, stakeholders and competitive dynamics and translating that intelligence into a deliberate growth strategy.

You will build and execute account plans that answer three fundamental questions:

  • Where can Valiantys create the greatest value?

  • Who do we need to influence to make that happen?

  • How do we turn that value into sustainable commercial growth?

You will develop relationships across multiple levels of the client organization, create executive sponsorship, uncover new buying centers and build a strong pipeline of opportunities capable of materially growing each account.

Selling outcomes, not capacity

• The strongest candidates will understand that sophisticated services sales is not about selling consultants, days or technical resources. It is about selling change and business outcomes.

You will lead discovery around the client’s most important challenges and ambitions, working with Valiantys’ consulting and technical experts to turn those conversations into propositions that have clear strategic relevance and measurable value.

Whether the opportunity involves enterprise transformation, ITSM/ESM, cloud, DevOps, platform strategy, AI, operating-model change or managed services, you will ensure the conversation begins with the client’s desired outcome, not the technology.

Orchestrating Valiantys

• Complex services opportunities are won as a team.

You will act as the commercial orchestrator for your accounts, bringing together the best of Valiantys across consulting, solution architecture, delivery, customer success, managed services and executive leadership.

You will create clarity around the client’s ambition, establish a compelling win strategy and ensure our teams are aligned around the outcome we are trying to achieve.

You will also work closely with Atlassian and our broader partner ecosystem, building strong field relationships and turning platform opportunities into larger transformation and services engagements.

Your objective is not simply to participate in opportunities. It is to shape them.

Bring commercial discipline

• Maintain accurate forecasting, qualification and opportunity management throughout the sales cycle.

• Apply MEDDPICC or a similar methodology to create clarity, momentum and accountability.

• Contribute to strategic account planning, regional strategy and commercial reporting.

• Monitor portfolio performance and adjust priorities based on data, market signals and customer engagement.

• Share insight, best practices and relevant market intelligence with the wider sales organization.

What you need to be successful

We are looking for a sophisticated enterprise seller with a strong record of building and closing significant consulting and professional services business with more than 10 years of experience minimum.

You will bring most of the following:

• A proven track record of winning complex, high-value professional services, consulting or transformation engagements within enterprise organizations.

• Evidence of consistently delivering against ambitious services revenue and bookings targets.

• Strong experience growing strategic accounts and creating substantial new revenue within existing client relationships.

• The ability to engage credibly with C-suite and senior executive stakeholders, combining commercial confidence with intellectual curiosity.

• The ability to move comfortably between strategic business conversations and the commercial detail required to get complex deals signed.

• Experience creating opportunities where no formal requirement or RFP previously existed.

• Strong commercial judgment across pricing, scope, margin, contracting, negotiation and deal structure.

• The ability to navigate complex organizations, political environments and multi-stakeholder buying processes.

• Experience orchestrating multidisciplinary teams around large pursuits.

• Strong forecasting, pipeline management and opportunity qualification discipline.

• Experience within technology consulting, digital transformation, enterprise service management, ITSM, cloud, DevOps, AI transformation or the Atlassian ecosystem would be highly valuable.

• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to align consultants, delivery teams, partners and executives around a shared opportunity.

If you are ready to develop strategic accounts, achieve ambitious goals, and make a real impact, we would love to hear from you.
