➡️ What you'll do
- Build your own pipeline: Identify and prospect partners from a wide variety of industries to accountant software vendors, to grow Italy's partner base from scratch.
- Design deals that close: Structure revenue-sharing models tailored to each partner, from first pitch to signed contract.
- Enable and nurture partners: Support partners after signature so the relationship keeps generating value long after the ink dries.
- Jump on ad hoc opportunities: Respond fast when Product or Marketing need a partner, being the external eyes for Qonto in Italy when it comes to business development opportunities
- Help write the playbook: There's no fixed process yet, so you'll help build one as the team takes shape.
➡️ What we're looking for
- A proven hunter: You've built and closed your own pipeline, working directly with C-level stakeholders.
- Business acumen: You know how to design a partnership or revenue-sharing model that works for both sides.
- Comfort with ambiguity: You've thrived in a 0-to-1 environment where the playbook doesn't exist yet.
- A sales-driven background: Experience from sales-heavy environments (telco, energy, SaaS, fintech) matters more than a "partnerships" title on your CV.
- AI-fluent: You use AI tools naturally to sharpen prospecting, drafting, and follow-up.
- Languages: You are fluent in Italian and English.
- A ground-floor seat: Help build Italy's partnerships function from scratch, not inherit someone else's playbook.
- Two growth bets, one role: Grow the core partnerships pipeline today, with a path to specialize in our emerging accountants vertical.
- Direct access to strategy: Shape which partnerships we pursue, not just execute someone else's plan.
- Room to grow: As the team scales in 2027, move from building partnerships to managing the ones you've launched.s.
➡️ Your future manager
You'll report to Enrico Armilli, Head of Business Development Southern Europe. Enrico joined Qonto a few months ago after a career in direct sales at big tech, and he's building the Italian partnerships team from scratch alongside you. Don't expect a micromanager: Enrico calls himself a people-first mentor, more focused on your growth than on teaching you the playbook step by step.
