Mid-Market Account Executive

THIS IS A REAL STEP INTO CLOSING

You booked the meeting. Someone else closed it. Not here.

Your number. Your accounts. Your calls. Your deals. Start to finish.

You already know this feeling

You worked the account for weeks. You found the pain, you got the right person on the phone, you booked the meeting. Then you handed it over and watched someone else take it to signature and pick up the commission.

This is the seat where you keep it.

The role, in plain English

You own a UK and Ireland mid-market patch and carry a monthly new-business ARR target. You find every opportunity yourself, and you close it yourself. There is no SDR underneath you and nobody filling your diary. We give you the data, the tools, the coaching and a few live opportunities to get you moving. Everything after that is yours to build.

If that reads as a warning, this is not your role. If it reads as an opportunity, keep going.

What you’ll actually be doing

• Picking your target accounts and going after them properly
• Cold calling. Every week. It does not stop being part of the job when you start closing
• Running discovery that reaches business impact, not a feature checklist
• Demoing Joblogic to operations directors, finance and business owners
• Multi-threading, building the commercial case, negotiating and closing
• Keeping HubSpot honest and forecasting a number you are happy to be held to

What we’ll give you

• A structured 90-day ramp into discovery, demonstrations, commercials and closing. You will never be guessing what good looks like
• Full coaching as standard: MEDDPICC is our qualification standard and we will teach it to you, alongside discovery, demo and negotiation training, weekly call reviews and deal clinics
• Live opportunities at the start to get you selling while you build your own engine
• The data, tooling and tech stack to prospect properly, so your time goes on selling rather than list building
• A real career, with a fast-growing, PE-backed software business scaling to £100M ARR. This is the first seat of a career here, not the last

You’ll love this if

• You have 12-36 months as an SDR or BDR and you have smashed your number, and you can prove it with real figures
• A cold call that turns into a deal is still the best part of your week
• You are competitive with yourself before you are competitive with anyone else
• You want feedback, not comfort, and you act on it fast
• You want to be judged on ARR, not on dials and diary entries
• You are curious about how businesses actually make money, not just about hitting activity targets

DON’T APPLY IF

You want your pipeline handed to you.

You think prospecting stops the day you start closing.

Your best answer to “how did you perform?” is “the team hit target”.

Joblogic in thirty seconds

We are the UK’s #1 Field Service Management software platform. Founded in 1998, ~£35M ARR, 500+ people and over 100,000 users across HVAC, plumbing, electrical maintenance, facilities management and building fabric maintenance. We are backed by Vista Equity Partners with over £100 million of new capital behind us, and we are scaling to £100M ARR with an AI-first product roadmap.

Put simply: the market is huge, the product wins, and the ceiling on this team has just been lifted. We need people who want to run at that.

How to apply

Send us your CV, and tell us in a few lines about the best opportunity you have ever self-sourced (In the Cover Letter). How you found it, how you got in, what happened next. We are far more interested in that than in how your CV is formatted.

Bring energy. This team runs on it.
