Microsoft Sales Executive

Company Description

Devoteam is a Microsoft Partner in the Nordics, helping customers get more value from Microsoft Cloud.

We combine strong Microsoft capabilities with expertise across cloud, platform engineering, security, data and managed services.

We are now looking for a Microsoft Sales Executive who already knows the ecosystem and can help us grow the business across the Nordics.

Job Description

We are looking for someone who already knows how the Microsoft game works. You know the Microsoft field. You understand the partner model, CSP, co-sell and how opportunities are created together with Microsoft.

This is a hunter role.
Your job is to open new accounts, create pipeline and close business. You will own a defined set of named accounts across the Nordics, with clear territory and account ownership.

You will work closely with Microsoft and with our own experts across Cloud, Platform Engineering, Security and Managed Services to build opportunities that go beyond licensing.

What you will do

• Build new business across a defined portfolio of Nordic accounts.

• Develop relationships with Microsoft sellers, specialists and partner teams.

• Create joint pipelines through account mapping, co-sell and direct customer engagement.

• Own the full sales cycle from first conversation to signed deal.

• Build and structure CSP opportunities where relevant.

• Turn Microsoft relationships into larger consulting, cloud, security and managed services engagements.

• Work closely with our technical teams to shape solutions around real customer needs.

• Build long-term relationships with customers and expand existing accounts.

• Keep a strong view of your territory, pipeline and next opportunities.

Territory

You will work with named accounts across clearly defined and protected territories in the Nordic region.
Our main focus is enterprise customers within:

• Manufacturing

• Retail

• Financial Services

There will also be opportunities in other sectors where we see a strong fit.

Qualifications

We are not looking for someone who wants to learn Microsoft sales from scratch. We are looking for someone who has already done it.

What matters to us

• You know Microsoft in the Nordics

• You already have relationships in the Microsoft ecosystem and understand how to work with the field to create business.

• You have a proven track record of opening new accounts, creating opportunities and closing complex technology deals.

• You understand CSP and cloud commercial models

• You know how Microsoft cloud deals are structured and how to build commercial opportunities around them.

• You can sell beyond licensing

• You understand how to connect Microsoft technology with consulting, migration, platform engineering, security and managed services.

• You can work with technical people

• You do not need to be an engineer, but you can understand customer challenges and work with experts to turn them into a strong proposition.

• You can sell to senior stakeholders
You are comfortable working with CIOs, CTOs, IT leaders and business decision-makers.

• You take ownership

• You know your accounts, your pipeline and what needs to happen next.

• You speak fluent English

• A Nordic language is a strong advantage.

The profile we are looking for

A simple way to describe it: If we put you in a room with the Microsoft organisation in Sweden or the Nordics tomorrow, you should already know the people in the room.

And they should know you.

Additional Information

What you get

• Clear account ownership and protected territories.

• Direct access to strong Microsoft technical expertise.

• The ability to sell across several capabilities, not just one service.

• A Nordic role with room to build.

• Hybrid and flexible working.

• Access to training and certifications through Devoteam Academy.

• Opportunities across Devoteam’s international network.

If you know the Microsoft ecosystem, know how to create business with it and like building from scratch, we want to talk.
