Rillet serves accounting and finance teams, the financial brains of their companies. Our job is to help them run the numbers with impossible speed, accuracy, and insight.
Rillet is the Agentic ERP built for modern finance teams. We help companies automate the most critical parts of finance, from closing the books and recognizing revenue to consolidating entities and reporting to investors. More than 600 companies run on Rillet, including Mercor, Scribe, and Function Health, and we partner with leading accounting firms including EY and KPMG.
We’re building in one of the largest software markets in the world, with the momentum to match. Rillet has raised more than $200M, is valued at $1B, and is backed by Sequoia, a16z, ICONIQ, Bain Capital Ventures, Oak HC/FT, and other leading investors. We’re using that backing to build the financial infrastructure for the next generation of companies and help every business run its numbers at the speed of AI.
Who We Are
Rillet’s pace is not for everyone. Intelligence is table stakes. To succeed here, you need extreme speed, agency, and flexibility.
The people who thrive at Rillet do not wait for assignments. They internalize the mission, design a strategy, and bring back results that are better, faster, and more creative than a manager could have asked for.
Our work revolves around our customers. The people who succeed here are energized by delivering what matters most, even when it was not part of the original plan.
Rillet is built on deep accounting expertise, and it takes people from many disciplines to build a category-defining company. You do not need to be an accountant to thrive here. You do need to care deeply about the problems we solve and the impact our customers can create. Together, we combine the precision of accounting with the speed, creativity, and ambition of AI-native software to power the financial core of the world’s fastest-growing companies while redefining what finance teams should expect from their software.
Who We Need
As our Founding Business Development Representative in the UK at Rillet, you’ll work closely with our GTM leadership and Business Development team to scale the sales pipeline and drive execution toward ambitious growth targets.
As one of the first members of our UK GTM team, you’ll have a key role in shaping our strategy, testing new approaches, and building the foundation for Rillet’s long-term go-to-market success.
You’ll engage CFOs, finance leaders, and accounting teams at everything from fast-scaling startups to global enterprises — helping them understand how Rillet can transform the way they operate.
What You’ll Do
Drive and Evolve Our Outbound Motion
Build on our initial outbound playbook by testing and iterating on messaging, channels, targeting, and strategy.
Run message tests, analyse ROI across channels, and explore new and unexpected outreach tactics.
Refine outbound processes, take full ownership with a scrappy, results-driven mindset, and double down where you see traction.
Execute with Relentless Focus
Partner closely with the GTM team to provide feedback on MQLs, campaigns, and prospect engagement.
Lead personalised, strategic outreach to high-priority accounts, converting cold and warm leads into qualified opportunities.
Actively drive and accelerate pipeline growth.
Represent Rillet
Be the first point of contact for many prospects, running qualification calls and guiding them through the early stages of evaluation.
Engage thoughtfully with customer needs and communicate Rillet’s value proposition clearly, compellingly, and in a solution-oriented way.
Build familiarity with finance and accounting workflows so you can engage credibly with sophisticated buyers.
Who We’re Looking For
Experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or another customer-facing role at a top-tier SaaS startup, leading accounting or consulting firm, or similarly high-performing environment.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — you can distil complex concepts into clear, conversational messaging.
Experience engaging finance or accounting decision-makers is a plus.
Strong commercial curiosity and an interest in financial operations and accounting.
Proactive and action-oriented — you take initiative and move quickly.
Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and execute across multiple projects.
Analytical and curious — you enjoy experimenting with outreach strategies and using data to inform decisions.
Experience working cross-functionally with GTM, Product, and leadership teams.
